APPLICATION

Trough belt conveyors are designed to move bulk materials efficiently over considerable distances. Depending on the desired performance, the width of the belt and the belt transport speed of the device are adapted to the technological needs.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

PTN trough belt conveyors transport the product by means of an "endless" belt mounted on drums. The belt is supported on three-roller pulley assemblies arranged along the conveyor axis. The roller sets consist of a structure to which the rollers are mounted. The axes of the external rollers are mounted on the structure at an angle to the centre roller axis, creating a "trough". This solution increases the efficiency of the device as well as preventing product loss during transport.

Both the infeed and outfeed of the unit are matched to the equipment in the production line where the conveyor is located. Depending on the location and the process line in which the device is located, the geared motor can be fitted with a protective cover. The conveyor is driven by a geared motor with a power output depending on the size and capacity of the unit.
