Pump GUs42
Application
Product centrifugal pump with suction capability. The GUs42 pump is an extension of the GU42 range of pumps produced. It is made on the basis of the pump body, motor and impeller used in GU42 pumps.
The pump's suction capability created by the additional worm impeller completes the range of centrifugal pumps produced and, in particular, complements the capabilities of the LR circulating pump.
The GUs 42 pumps are designed for the transport of non-concentrated or concentrated food liquids with a dry matter content of up to 50% or other foodstuffs with similar properties at temperatures of up to 95°C.

General characteristics
The GUs30 pump type is fitted with a volute casing which has a sealing function on the suction side of the pump, enabling vacuum to be created on the suction side of the pump while the pump casing is not yet filled with liquid.
The liquid in the volute casing of the volute casing is sufficient to both initiate operation of the pump under low liquid conditions and to pull product residues out of the suction pipe;
The pump can be used as both a product feed pump and a product draw-off pump.
As in the case of centrifugal pumps, the GUs42 pump is, together with the motor, a closed monolithic structure supported on 4 adjustable ball feet.
The pump's two impellers - a worm impeller and the pump's primary impeller - are open, seated on the extended shaft of the motor driving the pump. External pump casing mounted with cap screws to the pump casing. An o-ring seal is fitted between the outer casing and the pump casing, so that it can be washed out during the CIP cleaning process.
Outer casing and pump casing made of min. 5.0 mm thick, specially formed in a forming process, which contributes to the durability and reliability of the pump. Connection ferrules with external Rd threads to DIN 11851 - DN65 Rd95 suction and DN50 Rd78 discharge.
Pump manufactured from stainless steel 1.4404 for parts in contact with the product and 1.4301 for other parts such as the casing and base. Shaft seals: single-piece mechanical face seal.
The pumps have the necessary approvals for use in the food industry and are CE-marked.
