Pump GH-20 - Pumps for food liquids

GH-20 pump - single-stage - an improved version of the GA type pumps - popularly known as milkers.
GH series pumps are designed to introduce hygienic solutions to the basic pump parameters used in the food industry. The pump parameters and connection dimensions correspond to those of the GA series.

The pumps are designed with the current requirements of food industry applications in mind.

Versions with a heated outer casing make it possible to pump food-grade fats that thicken at low temperatures and chemical agents used, for example, in the manufacture of household chemicals.

The GH-20 pumps are made entirely of acid-resistant steel, the pump casing and all parts are made of 1.4404 (316L) steel, internal surface roughness ≤0.8µm, washable casing seal and all components inside the casing.

The GH-20 pump is intended for the transport of non-concentrated or concentrated food liquids with a dry matter content of up to 50% or other foodstuffs with similar properties at a temperature of up to 95°C.

The pump can be designed for installations where food safety is very important.
Versions with hygienic mechanical seals are available, fully ensuring the safety of the pumped media.
Pump versions with internal component roughness ≤0.4µm are possible.

The GH-20 pump is a centrifugal pump and is a closed monolithic structure with the motor supported on 4 spherical feet, adjustable to allow the pump to be levelled.

Pump impeller - open, seated on the extended shaft of the motor driving the pump. External pump casing mounted with cap screws to the pump casing. An o-ring seal is fitted between the outer casing and the pump casing so that it can be washed out during the CIP cleaning process.

The outer casing and pump casing are made of thick sheet metal, specially shaped in a forming process, which contributes to the durability and reliability of the pump.

The heated outer casing is designed for hot water or steam supply with a maximum pressure of 3 bar.

Connection ferrules with Rd male thread according to DIN 11851.
Pump execution in AISI 316 stainless steel (1.4404) for parts in contact with the product and AISI 304 (EN 1.4301) for other parts such as the casing or base.

Shaft seals: double face mechanical seal with flushing fluid (water) or single face seal; seal material sets selected to suit the medium to be pumped.

Other seal material sets on request.
