Application
Handling liquids with high viscosity - exceeding the range of application of centrifugal pumps, i.e. above 800 cP.
Transfer of concentrated liquids
- creams, shampoos, soaps
- liquid pastes
- emulsions thickened during the manufacture of cosmetics
- cream, heavy cream, homogenised cheese, cottage cheese
- honey and honey-based products
- jams, preserves, syrups
The pumping of non-concentrated liquids is also possible, but for this purpose it is more economical to use centrifugal pumps.

General characteristics
The classic design of the pumps produced by Spomasz - an impeller seated directly on the extended end of the motor shaft.
The PWe pump is a positive displacement pump with an impeller having flexible vanes, whose eccentric seating allows the volume between the vane and the casing to vary - on the suction side the space is larger and gradually tightens to be pushed into the discharge pipe at the smallest volume.
This pump design enables a stable fluid flow (minimising pulsatility), allows the fluid to be pumped with soft and hard particles as far as possible without grinding them.
The pump allows the fluid to be pumped in both directions - after changing the direction of rotation of the motor.
The pump is driven by an asynchronous, three-phase motor with fitted thermistors and the possibility of using a frequency converter, which allows stepless capacity adjustment.
The pump is also available in a mobile version - a trolley design.
